Bishop House

Provides community-based residential services to individuals referred by the Waterbury Community Enforcement Division/Department of Correction.

Clients must meet the eligibility criteria for community release clients, as established by the Department of Correction. The DOC Residential Program emphasizes work release. All clients must be able to work full-time. Substance abuse services, including substance abuse monitoring, are supplemented by outside self-help and 12 step meetings. Residents pay program fees. As required, contributions are also made to the State's Victim's Compensation Fund.
