William Rybczyk is the Director of Research, Development and Planning at New Opportunities. His background includes over a decade of experience in serving the community.
Bill began working with New Opportunities while overseeing a program while with AmeriCorp's. After the program was transitioned to New Opportunities, he progressed into a greater role as a Planner and Senior Planner within the agency's Research, Development and Planning division. Today, he is responsible for managing the agency's Research, Development and Planning and accountable for overseeing the agency's portfolio of pilot programs and full responsibility for the agency's grants and fund development activities.
Bill currently serves as a Board Member for the Northeast Institute for Quality Community Action. He has also been honored with a selection to be a member of the National Association of State Community Programs and the Community Services Block Grant Information Systems Task Force (CSBG IST).
Bill holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Communications from Eastern Connecticut State University and a Master's degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University.
Bill has been designated as a ROMA Peer to Peer National Trainer by the Community Action Agency of Pennsylvania, a Bridges Out of Poverty Certified Trainer by aha!Process Inc., Family Development for Leaders Certificate and Training Facilitator from the Children's Trust Fund & University of Connecticut School of Development and Family Studies, and a Community Action Peer Reviewer by the Northeast Institute for Quality Community Action.
