New Opportunities cares about the health and wellbeing of our employees and customers. We believe that an abundance of caution is the best practice for all of us.

All locations of New Opportunities will continue program operations during the Stay Home Stay Safe period. Many of the programs will have staff that are teleworking.

Before going to any location, please call to see if the person or if the program you are looking for is on site. Please leave messages if a “live” voice does not answer and staff will return your call.

Here is some information about several of our programs:
- Energy Assistance applications will be taken over the phone.
- Meals on Wheels will continue to deliver meals. If you received meals at a Congregate meal site, please contact your Senior Center Director to arrange for a home delivery.
- Staff at Muriel H Moore Child Development Center are on site and available to talk to over the phone. Children are not in attendance.
- NOGM Updated Hours and Services

Please call 203.575.9799 to contact a staff person from other programs.

New Opportunities will be evaluating its programming on a daily basis. As this changes over time, we will update our website, Facebook page, telephone greetings and post items on public media.

We encourage you to visit the CDC and the State of CT websites for updates on the Coronavirus/COVID-19. Please call 211 for additional information.
