New Opportunities receives funding from Stop and Shop Food for Friends campaign
New Opportunities, Inc. Meals on Wheels program, selected recipient of Waterbury’s Reidville Drive Stop and Shop’s annual “Food for Friends” campaign, was presented with $2,943 in proceeds raised by the local Stop and Shop. All campaign proceeds will be used to purchase meals for seniors living in the Greater Waterbury or Greater Danbury area.
Participating customers visiting the store between November 2nd and November 25th 2012 purchased paper turkeys in denominations of $1, $3 or $5 at checkout.
